The Tai Chi and Wellness Academy is offering a new 2-year Teacher Training Course, starting later this year. This is an opportunity to discover and develop new skills and earn a qualification with meaning.
On successful completion of the final assessment, students will be qualified to teach Chi Kung, Tai Chi (Level 1) and Meditation, giving them an opportunity to make a profound difference, not only to their student’s lives but also their own.
This is a practical and theory-based training course, delivered one weekend a month over a period of two years.
The programme is tailored to train students in Chi Kung, Tai Chi and Meditation, whilst also teaching the key principles and philosophical concepts underlying each of these disciplines.
The course is facilitated by a team of fully qualified Chi Kung and Tai Chi instructors, including Rosaleen Fadden as course director. Over the past twenty years Rosaleen has enjoyed teaching Chi Kung and Tai Chi to many diverse groups of students throughout Ireland, Europe and Asia.

"My husband and I started doing Tai Chi and Chi Kung about 30 years ago so that we could remain supple and agile right through to old age. Now we are in our 70s and still doing Tai Chi and we have achieved our aim. We both find that practicing Tai Chi each morning gives us energy that keeps us going all day long. We are very fortunate to have Rosaleen as our Tai Chi teacher. We have had quite a few teachers down through the years and there is nobody to compare to Rosaleen."
