For people who want to enjoy a longer period of engagement with self and nature, we offer two retreats, which include a variety of ways for you to take time for yourself to rest and relax, to be renewed and enriched, and to discover a deeper meaning and direction in life. All of our retreats generally include Tai Chi, Chi Kung and relaxation or Meditation, at different levels depending on the participants.
Because of the gentle pace and low impact nature of the movements of Tai Chi and Chi Kung, they are exercises that are suitable for most people. We welcome people at all stages of their inner growth journey. For your comfort over the seven days, please let us know if you have any special requests concerning dietary requirements, mobility needs, etc. and we will do what we can to accommodate your request.
The content of the retreats will vary, but all retreats will include aspects of Tai Chi, Chi Kung, and Meditation. For more information about these Pathways to Wellness, please see here. For indoor activities, participants should wear comfortable clothing suitable for exercise, and bring a yoga mat, cushion, and a shawl or blanket for meditation. All retreats have an outdoor dimension, and will involve time spent with Nature. Participants should bring appropriate footwear, waterproofs, and suitable clothing for outdoor activities. Retreats typically run for seven days, and are held in residential centres (full-board accommodation provided as part of retreat).
This weeklong retreat in a natural environment of woodland, lake and nature trails, in the heart of Co. Wicklow, provides nourishment for the body and soul. The retreat will involve presence with the nature elements through:

"I loved everything about the retreat – the guided meditations, the Tai Chi (indoors and outdoors) the theme of the seasons, the music and the space to reflect. Thank you for the facilitation and the preparation. It was all done in a gentle, relaxed and encouraging way. The days went so quickly."

“I really relaxed with the unique blend of meditation, Tai Chi and Chi Kung movements and quiet contemplative time to be with one’s inner journey towards God – the source of our life. Thank you so much.”

“I enjoy the relaxed, invitational approach. The Tai Chi movements, music, poems, etc. focused on the theme of the day and the meditations were very apt. You both worked very well as a team and exemplified in person the holistic approach. Thank you for a most “enjoyable” and valuable week for me.”
