Moments of joy and pure gratitude can be transformative, leaving memories that we cherish. In these moments we are connected with all of life and can recognise the beauty of life despite all its challenges and imperfections. These moments of well-being, health and happiness can also be cultivated through the practice of Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Meditation to bring about lasting change.
The style, form and execution of the Tai Chi moves are secondary in comparison to the inner work of awareness of breath, holding the chi (energy), grounding and rooting into the earth, and working with the deeper levels of our existence as we make these moves during practice. From the practice of Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Meditation you experience greater strength and vitality, inner peace and harmony, and a raising of your consciousness to pure love.
The Tai Chi and Wellness Academy was developed by founder Rosaleen Fadden to grow and extend the practices and benefits of Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Meditation as Pathways to Wellness. The Academy offers a variety of classes, workshops and courses designed to empower and improve our lives, one step at a time. Rosaleen and the Associate Teachers are eager to empower others to share these Pathways to Wellness by training Tai Chi teachers at the Academy.
"Of all the exercises, I should say that Tai Chi is the best. It can ward off disease, banish worry and tension, bring improved physical health and prolong life. It is a good hobby for your whole life, the older you are, the better. It is suitable for everyone - the weak, the sick, the aged, children, the disabled and blind. It is also an economical exercise. As long as one has three square feet of space, one can take a trip to paradise and stay there to enjoy life for thirty minutes without spending a single cent".
